Matészalkai police put a 47-year-old local man in custody after he allegedly broke into a family home in Ópályi and stole several hundred thousand forints. Officers arrested the suspect within two hours, after he entered the house in Ópályi and allegedly took the cash. Hungary Police said the burglary involved an uninvited entry into the residence, followed by the theft of money. Following the report, police moved quickly and caught the man. The latest status is that the suspect is in custody.
