Poznań police have arrested a suspect for alleged internet fraud after he advertised electronic equipment online that he did not own. Officers from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań said the man, from the Łódzkie Voivodeship, deceived buyers for more than 53,000 zł. He faces up to eight years in prison, according to the investigation. Police said the accused allegedly carried out the scheme by listing electronics for sale on the internet, then accepting customers’ money for items he could not deliver. The case led to his arrest by Poznań officers. The man is currently under suspicion and will face the legal process linked to the internet fraud allegations, including the possibility of a prison sentence of up to eight years.
