Police in Prokuplje arrested D. S. (43) on suspicion of breaking into a home and stealing 18,000 euros. The alleged robbery happened on 10 June in the area around Prokuplje. Investigators say the suspect cut the protective mesh on a window of a house belonging to a 65-year-old resident, entered the property, and took the money. Prokuplje police launched intensive operational work to identify the suspect. He was then located and detained by police. The suspect was ordered to remain in custody for up to 48 hours. After that, with a criminal report, he is to be brought before the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Prokuplje.
