A 15-year-old girl was attacked by a dog while taking a walk in a forest, Polish police reported. The teenager suffered injuries to her legs, neck and head and was taken to hospital. Police said the owner of the freely running dog only lost sight of the animal for a moment. When the dog attacked, the girl was left with injuries that required medical treatment. Officers appealed to dog owners to stay vigilant and keep better control of their animals to prevent similar incidents.
