Police in Helmond arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of trading in banned heavy fireworks. The arrest took place on Friday evening. Officers found about 20 kilos of illegal fireworks at his home. The police said the man was suspected of dealing in so-called zwaar vuurwerk, fireworks that are prohibited. After the arrest, investigators concentrated on the fireworks discovered in the residence. The latest status is that the man is currently in custody as the investigation continues.
