A 19-year-old resident of Verbania was arrested by the carabinieri, accused of drug dealing and detention for the purpose of selling. Police stopped a group of young people during a routine check and one of them acted agitated. The teenager first handed over a small amount of suspected drugs. After that, officers searched him and found 48 grams of hashish, along with a precision scale. The search was extended to his home, where carabinieri found two additional doses of stupefacente, various items suitable for packaging, and 900 euros in banknotes of different denominations. Investigators also reported that checks uncovered elements pointing to prior, repeated drug sales to underage people. On the order of the judicial authority, the 19-year-old was placed under house arrest.
