Kosovo police extradited 2 Kosovo citizens back to Kosovo after INTERPOL warrants were issued by Kosovo justice institutions. The men were arrested in Germany and Switzerland and transferred to Kosovo on 13 and 14 October 2026, police said. On 13.10.2026, a Kosovar citizen was extradited from Germany. He was wanted for unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic and analogous substances. After extradition, he was handed to police units in the Peja region to continue legal procedures. On 14.10.2026, another Kosovar citizen was extradited from Switzerland. He was wanted for robbery. After extradition, he was handed to police units in the Gjilan region for the continuation of legal procedures. The extraditions were carried out under the laws in force, with cooperation between Kosovo and the authorities of the countries where the arrests were made. The suspects are now with the relevant Kosovo police units in Peja and Gjilan for further legal steps.
