Two 19-year-old men have been charged after police seized two Surron electric bikes and found offensive weapons during an incident in Glasgow. Officers were called to Cranhill Park in the city’s east end at around 4.30pm on Thursday, where the two e-bikes were seized. The two men were arrested and later charged after being found in possession of offensive weapons, police said. Sergeant Cameron from the Local Problem-Solving Team at London Road Police Station said officers are committed to tackling the illegal use of e-bikes or e-scooters on public footpaths and roads, and any wider criminality including anti-social behaviour. The latest status is that the pair have been charged and are accused in connection with the items seized at Cranhill Park.
