Portuguese police detained a 23-year-old man in Moita on suspicion of drug trafficking. The O Comando Territorial de Setúbal, via the Moita Territorial Post, carried out the arrest on 14 October. The action focused on the locality of Fonte da Prata. During the police operation, the Guarda detected a situation linked to drug trafficking, leading to the suspect’s detention. Afterwards, the man was released and was ordered to appear on 16 October at the Tribunal Judicial da Comarca de Lisboa, DIAP da Moita, for the application of coercive measures. The GNR said it continues patrol and crime-prevention actions targeting the fight against drug trafficking to reinforce public security and peace.
