A 30-year-old driver was detained last night in Varna after police stopped his car for a check in Asparuhovo. The incident happened around 22:55 in the Asparuhovo district. Police carried out tests with a technical device, which returned a positive result for cannabis and amphetamine. Based on the findings, an act for establishing an administrative violation (AУАН) was drawn up. A pre-trial investigation has also been initiated in connection with the case. The police said the driver was stopped for verification, after which the dual-drug test led to his detention and the opening of the case.
