Carabinieri raided a hotel in Aprilia and found drugs hidden in the rooms, including 60 grams of marijuana, hashish and crack. Police said the seizure was made in the hotel room used by the 50-year-old owner. A separate room occupied by a 21-year-old guest also contained drugs. During an investigation, officers documented multiple episodes linked to drug dealing in the hotel. On Friday morning, they carried out a search after a warrant issued by the prosecutor’s office. In the owner’s room, police seized marijuana, hashish and crack, along with 400 euros in cash, a precision scale, and packaging material used to prepare doses for sale. In the other room, occupied by a man whose presence had not been registered, officers found about 15 grams of cocaine and cash. The seized drugs and items were confiscated. Police arrested both men in flagrante delicto on charges related to drug possession for the purpose of dealing. The owner was also reported to the judicial authorities for allegedly enabling drug use in his establishment, and proceedings were started to request the suspension of the hotel license.
