A man was detained by Warsaw police after a report he was carrying a knife and a pistol with blank rounds during a demonstration outside Poland's Constitutional Tribunal. Police said the incident happened on Saturday in front of the court as political tensions over the tribunal’s judges intensified. A woman helping organise the protest noticed the 30-year-old man because his face was partly covered. When she asked him to uncover his face, he allegedly struck her and then ran away. Protesters immediately chased him, shouting “Provocator, provocator!” Police officers keeping security at the demonstration later arrested the man. The latest status is that the suspect is in police custody following the detention outside the Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw.
