Bangkok police seized a nitrous oxide supply they say was meant for nightlife spots, confiscating more than 50,000 parts. Two women, aged 25 and 29, were arrested. Officers raided a building at Sukhumvit 71 in the Watthana district on 10 October around 3pm. They found 90 tanks containing 3 litres of nitrous oxide each, along with 70 cylinders for cream dispensers. The haul also included 27,000 balloons and gas cartridges from brands Mosa and Quick Whip. Police said they seized 8,280 Mosa tubes in 23 cartons, 4,320 Quick Whip cartridges in twelve boxes, and a further 26,640 Quick Whip cartridges, plus a computer set. Police said the firm Chain Store, a limited partnership listed at Sukhumvit 71, was set up for wholesale trade in ceramic, glass and kitchen goods. Investigators allege it sold nitrous oxide in large quantities and secretly. Prosecutors accused the two women of producing, selling, bringing into the country or ordering modern-medicine drugs without a licence. Police moved the suspects to Khlong Tan police station and said they will pursue the case under the law.
