Police stop two teenagers after theft of 300 euros in Boé shops
One resisted arrest, with penal arrangement planned and the other due before the prosecutor’s delegate.
Police in Boé have detained two teenage suspects after a clothing theft worth 300 euros in a discount store.
Officers intervened on Sunday, 25 October, at the B&M store in the Fabas shopping area. The shop reported that 300 euros worth of clothing had been stolen.
The alleged theft involved two young women, aged 17 and 21. Police moved to identify and arrest them shortly after the incident.
During the arrest, one of the suspects resisted. She is scheduled for a penal arrangement, a legal procedure that can replace a court appearance.
The second suspect has been summoned before the prosecutor’s delegate.
The case comes as an Aldi store in the same commune was targeted earlier in October in another shoplifting incident, where three people were quickly apprehended and will be heard in court in March.
