A man fired a gun from the 13th floor of a residential complex in Bratislava on Tuesday afternoon, triggering a police operation. Police said the shots were fired from a window at Koloseo in Tomášikova Street. Residents were told to avoid the area as the street was closed in both directions during the police action. Local media reported that special forces arrived shortly after the shooting, along with marksmen and a negotiator. The man allegedly threw objects from the balcony before opening fire into the inner courtyard. Police confirmed that no one was injured. A firearm was secured at the scene. Special units entered the apartment where they detained two people. Police said they are still investigating the circumstances of the incident.
