Police in Cassino arrested a 37-year-old man after they found more than 500 grams of hashish in his home while he was under home detention for drug-related offences. The operation was carried out as officers carried out targeted checks on whether people subject to precautionary measures and alternative detention comply with the conditions. The Squad Mobile of the Frosinone Police Headquarters and the Cassino Police Station took part, with support from dog units. During a house search, officers seized over 500 grams of hashish and 0.45 grams of cocaine. They also found packaging material and cash in banknotes of different denominations, which investigators say could be linked to dealing. The 37-year-old was already serving a home detention measure for previous drug offences. After the drugs and related items were discovered, he was arrested on the spot. After the required formalities, he was taken to the prison facility and made available to the judicial authorities for further steps in the case.
