A crash on Germany’s B 27 in the Fulda area has left two people injured, including one man seriously hurt. Police reported the collision on Saturday evening at around 22:00. The BMW and the VW Polo crashed after the 30-year-old Polo driver got into trouble while traveling from Eichenzell toward Fulda, in the Bronnzell area. According to the report, the 30-year-old man was driving on the right of two lanes when his vehicle began to swerve for an unknown reason. His VW Polo struck the left lane BMW driven by a 23-year-old man from Romania. Both cars hit the crash barriers and ended up in the wreckage. The BMW’s 54-year-old passenger was seriously injured, while the Polo driver suffered minor injuries. Because the BMW passenger door would not open, firefighters had to cut him free to rescue him. About 20 firefighters were involved in the response, alongside three ambulances and two tow trucks. The roads authority also secured the damaged guardrail. The B 27 was fully closed while police carried out the accident investigation and recovery operations.
