A 25-year-old man from Cugir was detained for 24 hours after police said he entered his 68-year-old grandmother’s home without permission. The incident happened on Sunday, 25 October 2026, around 12:30. Police said the man allegedly got inside by climbing the outside wall and entering through a window. Officers from the Police City of Cugir ordered the 24-hour detention after checks following the incident. He is being investigated for violare de domiciliu, home invasion. Investigators say the case is ongoing as they work to establish all the circumstances of what happened.
