Police in Poland detained a driver and his passenger suspected of endangering a person and causing injury after an air rifle shooting during a car ride. The 23-year-old driver was in the vehicle with a 37-year-old passenger when, during the trip, the passenger allegedly shot from a spring air rifle at their acquaintance who was walking along the sidewalk. Officers moved quickly, and the two men were arrested. Both heard allegations that they exposed the person to danger and caused bodily harm. The men have already been charged. They were placed under police supervision and given a restraining order requiring them not to approach the victim. Prosecutors say they could face up to 3 years in prison.
