Police in Košice and the surrounding area launched an anti-drug operation called Spoločnosť and detained three suspected people. The National Anti-Drug Unit and other units moved into action from the early hours of Tuesday, 27 October. Investigators are carrying out immediate procedural steps while the case is being investigated. So far, police say the operation is linked to an investigation into drug-related criminal activity in Košice and its vicinity, with several people allegedly involved. During the raid, officers detained three suspects. A police spokesperson, Roman Hájek, said the search and arrests were part of the larger operation, with officers from the National Anti-Drug Unit working alongside other police units. Police have not released where the operation took place in detail, who the detainees are, or which types of drugs were involved. They also have not said whether anyone has been charged, with more information expected when the legal process allows it.
