A 32-year-old man was arrested after allegedly undressing in the street in front of minors and attacking two Carabinieri officers in Cesena. Police said the incident unfolded while the suspect was driving while drunk, swerving near the Energy nightclub. Passers-by alerted the Carabinieri by phone. Carabinieri patrols intercepted and stopped the vehicle. The driver was described as being in clear physical and psychological alteration due to alcohol. When officers asked him to show his identity documents and take a breath test, he allegedly flew into a rage. Witnesses, including several minors, were present when the man allegedly tried to strip completely. Officers stopped him and, at that point, he allegedly started shouting, threatening the officers and hitting them. The man, described as already known for prior criminal records, was taken to the barracks and held in a secure room at the prosecutor’s order. The next morning, an arrest validation hearing was held. A judge at the Forlì court validated the arrest and ordered the suspect to report daily to the Carabinieri command.
