Silesian police warn after 87 e-scooter crashes since 2026
Two people died, and 88 were injured in the incidents, police say.
Since the start of 2026, 87 crashes involving e-scooters have hit Silesian roads, leaving 88 people injured and two dead, Polish police say.
To prevent more tragedy, officers from the Silesian police and staff from the Municipal Hospital Complex in Chorzów prepared a prevention spot aimed at parents and children.
The campaign is meant to highlight how serious the consequences can be even after a single moment of inattention while riding.
The police said the move is focused on raising awareness of the risks that come with the growing popularity of electric scooters among children and teenagers.
