The rider was stopped near Girona and fined for multiple offences including no helmet.
A 25-year-old man was arrested near Girona after allegedly fleeing twice from police while riding an electric scooter on the AP-7 motorway toward France.
Mossos d'Esquadra spotted the rider on Friday, 6 November, around 7:45 near Girona. When officers tried to stop him, he ignored their instructions and kept going, then fled again after being temporarily halted about 100 metres later.
Police say the man did not provide any information when asked for his papers. After being identified, he allegedly ran off again despite the officers' instructions.
Officers finally caught up with him in the municipality of Sant Gregori, at point kilometre 58 of the AP-7. He is suspected of rebellion and refusal to comply with authority.
The police also issued traffic-related reports for riding on an autoroute, not wearing a helmet, refusing to take an alcohol test, and having no insurance.
The man was taken into custody following the arrest, with charges linked to alleged rebellion and refusal to obey police.
