EPPO carried out searches and other investigative measures in Slovakia at the request of its Bratislava office as part of the “Pantastic” investigation into a suspected customs fraud scheme. The operation targeted alleged efforts to import textiles and footwear from China through customs arrangements involving public officials. Investigative actions were conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday in Slovakia, as EPPO pursued suspicions of fraud connected to the import of the goods. The case remains at the investigation stage, with EPPO continuing the probe following the searches carried out over the two days.
