Police caught three young people within half an hour after they allegedly passed fake money to a man in Pécs. Hungary Police said the suspects were taken into custody after the incident in the city, following the move of the counterfeit cash from the group to the buyer. The case involved an alleged counterfeiting operation carried out through a direct handoff of the forged banknotes. Officers acted quickly and detained the three suspects in connection with the fake money exchange. The latest status is that the three suspects have been arrested by police and the investigation is ongoing.
