Carabinieri arrested a 22-year-old in Formia after a night patrol stop uncovered suspected drugs meant for sale. The man, already known to the forces of law, was subject to an obligation to present himself to the judicial police. Suspicious behaviour during patrol led to a more detailed check in the days leading up to the arrest. Police found just over 2 grams of cocaine, split into four ready-to-sell packets. They also seized a small quantity of hashish. Alongside the drugs, officers confiscated a precision scale and plastic material considered compatible with preparing doses. The arrest was made in flagranza. The case then moved to the Procura della Repubblica di Cassino, which requested the convalidation of the arrest and a new precautionary measure. The judge granted the requests, validating the arrest. The 22-year-old was ordered to remain in the municipality of Formia and to stay at home during night-time hours.
