Four suspected arsonists were arrested after a deliberate car fire in Genappe, the Brabant Wallon public prosecutor said. Police were called on Saturday at around 02:20 to Rue Dernier Patard, south of Genappe, where a BMW was found burning. Investigators quickly confirmed the fire was deliberately set, the prosecution said. Officers from the Nivelles-Genappe police zone handled the response, with additional support requested from the Brunau, Braine-l'Alleud and Orne-Thyle police areas. Shortly after the incident, four people were apprehended and deprived of their liberty. The suspects, born between 2006 and 2008, are from the Charleroi area. They remain in custody as the investigation continues.
