Police in Frattamaggiore arrested two suspects during a weekend territory control operation. Officers from the Frattamaggiore Police Station, with Guardia di Finanza, the Crime Prevention unit in Campania and Frattamaggiore Local Police, carried out checks on 347 people, including 69 with prior police records. They checked 109 vehicles, issuing road violations worth over 7,000 euros and placing 2 vehicles under administrative seizure and 3 under administrative impound. Two arrests were made during the operation. In Sant’Arpino, police were approached by a woman who said her 55-year-old ex-husband was leaving on a bicycle. She reported that, moments earlier, he entered her home, damaged some furniture, threatened and assaulted her, and then took her car keys before fleeing. After a rapid investigation, police tracked down and stopped the man, finding him in possession of the keys, which were later returned to the woman. In Frattamaggiore, officers checked a car in Piazza Riscatto. A 20-year-old inside was found carrying a package with about 4 grams of cocaine and about 1.5 grams of ketamine. Police then carried out a check at the young man’s home and found additional material used to package drugs. The operation and checks continue under police investigation.
