GNR officers from the Territorial Command in Porto, via the Territorial Post in Amarante, detained a 30-year-old man in Amarante for possession of a prohibited weapon. During a roadside enforcement operation on October 30, officers stopped a vehicle in the municipality of Amarante. Inside, they found a knife next to the driver’s door, and it was immediately seized. Following the discovery, the suspect was taken into custody, made a statement as an accused person, and the case was reported to the Judicial Court of Amarante.
