US ICE arrests Himanshu Bhau and Neeraj Faridpuria in Las Vegas
Indian agencies seek their return as both men sit in Nevada immigration custody.
US ICE has arrested two Indian fugitives, Himanshu Bhau and Neeraj Faridpuria, in Las Vegas on October 22, putting Haryana police on track for questioning them in a cross-border manhunt.
Haryana’s Special Task Force is coordinating with US authorities to secure their return from Nevada, where they are held at the Henderson Detention Center. Their alleged network is linked by investigators to multiple shooting incidents and a long list of cases, including murder, attempted murder, extortion and criminal intimidation.
Bhau, also known as Himanshu Ritoliya, is from Rohtak in Haryana. He is wanted by Haryana and Delhi Police in connection with multiple cases, including forgery and extortion, and is listed by Hindustan Times as wanted in 18 criminal cases. Interpol issued a Red Notice against him in August 2023.
Faridpuria, also known as Neeraj Kaushik, is from Haryana’s Palwal district. Akashvani News reported more than 25 criminal cases have been registered against him.
US government records in the detainee locator list two Indian-born men, Himanshu Sigroha and Neeraj Kaushik, in custody under Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations office in Las Vegas. Indian authorities identified them as Bhau and Faridpuria.
Investigators say members of Bhau’s alleged network were connected to the August 2025 firing outside YouTuber Elvish Yadav’s Gurugram residence. Police arrested alleged shooters and said they acted on instructions linked to Bhau and Faridpuria.
The network has also been linked to a 2024 shooting at a Burger King outlet in Delhi’s Rajouri Garden, where a 26-year-old man was killed. Bhau reportedly claimed responsibility for that attack, though the allegations are subject to legal proceedings.
The cases in the US custody do not automatically trigger deportation or extradition. The next step depends on whether US authorities approve a transfer and when Indian investigators can question the men.
