Practitioners from joint investigation teams across the EU network met at Eurojust on 4 to 5 November 2026 for the 22nd Annual Meeting of National Experts on Joint Investigation Teams. The two-day event focused on how joint investigation teams can help combat online investment fraud, described as one of the fastest-growing areas of crime. Eurojust hosted the meeting bringing practitioners together to discuss ways JITs can support investigations into online investment schemes, leveraging cooperation between national authorities. The programme centred on sharing operational experience and practical approaches to strengthen cross-border work through JITs when fraudsters exploit online platforms.
