A 22-year-old motorcyclist died after a crash in Kam’янць-Подільський, and police detained the car driver. The accident happened on 23 October at about 18:45 on Prospekt Hrushevskoho. A 60-year-old Volkswagen Touran driver, making a left turn, did not give way to a Honda CBR motorcycle, leading to a collision. Police started a criminal proceeding. Officers detained the car driver under Article 208 of Ukraine’s Criminal Procedure Code. Investigators qualified the incident under part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code, which covers violations of road safety rules by people driving vehicles that caused the death of a victim. The investigation is ongoing.
