Kecskemét police arrested a suspected thief within 120 metres of the crime scene, and the man was already in handcuffs before the victim managed to make a call. Officers spotted a rule-breaking pedestrian and quickly found he was carrying stolen valuables. The arrest happened at about 120 metres from where the theft had taken place, before the victim reported the incident. Police moved fast after noticing the man nearby. By the time the victim called to report the theft, the suspect was already detained. The case status is an active police investigation, with the suspect arrested by Kecskemét officers.
