Police arrested a 36-year-old man within 15 minutes after he allegedly attacked another man with a knife outside the Pécs market hall. The incident happened in the vicinity of the vásárcsarnok in Pécs. Officers moved quickly and took the suspect into custody. Hungary police said the man had been swinging a knife on the street before the targeted attack. Officers caught him at the scene quickly enough to prevent further escalation. The latest status is that the suspect has been arrested and is in police custody as the case is handled through the criminal investigation.
