Police in Kropyvnytskyi have detained a man who threw grenades at officers and then opened fire with an automatic weapon. The incident happened on the city streets. Officers launched the special operation called “Грім”, and the man was detained by police units after the armed attack. Police said that, based on initial information, no one was injured. Police report that the suspect threw grenades toward law enforcement officers during communication, then began shooting with automatic weapons. Responders included officers from the special unit KORD and an investigative and operational police team from Kirovohrad region. After explosions and shooting were reported, Telegram channels, including “Твій Кропивницький”, informed about an armed man and road closures.
