The harshest charge concerns one man accused of distributing drugs, mainly methamphetamine, in an “exceptionally large” amount. He faces an accusation of an especially serious offence of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances, with a possible prison term of 10 to 25 years or life if convicted. The other three men were charged with unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances. If convicted, they face 7 to 20 years in prison. Police carried out five home searches, seven searches of non-residential premises and three personal searches. Officers seized larger quantities of methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as mobile phones and other items that may relate to distribution. Alongside the drugs, investigators seized the €100,000 cash, investment gold and two personal vehicles believed to be linked to proceeds from alleged criminal activity.
