Police in Limassol arrested a 30-year-old on a court warrant in connection with an alleged kidnapping and stabbing. The victim, a 24-year-old Turkish Cypriot man, said the incident happened on 16/10/2026. He went to the police on Monday, reporting that unknown people abducted him and took him to a remote area. According to the victim’s account, he was beaten and injured with a knife. He said the attackers believed he was the person behind recent alleged dog thefts. Police investigations led to the arrest of the 30-year-old. Officers are now taking statements and continuing inquiries to determine whether dog thefts were behind the alleged motive.
