Police in Loznica arrested two people on suspicion of stealing 56 new mobile phones from a technical shop and then trying to cross the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to the Serbian Interior Ministry, officers stopped the vehicle at the Trbušnica border crossing. The driver, M.S. (30), was carrying 17 new phones that police suspect had been stolen from the same shop in Loznica. The police action then led to the arrest of two suspects. The investigation centres on the alleged theft of the 56 phones and the attempted border crossing after the items were taken. The matter is still under investigation following the arrests.
