A 21-year-old man in Lublin has been detained over alleged preparations to murder his former partner, police said. The suspect, who allegedly started making preparations in July, worked out a plan, bought a weapon and monitored the woman’s home. Police said he also repeatedly threatened the victim. Officers later received information about the planned attack. The man was then arrested by Criminal Division officers at the City Police Headquarters in Lublin. Prosecutors and police asked the court to apply pre-trial detention. The court granted the request and ordered temporary detention for 3 months.
