The man was taken to a district TCC and sent for an assessment, authorities confirmed.
Police detained a Lviv man linked to alleged provocateur Ostap Stakhiv after his YouTube live broadcast was abruptly cut off.
On Saturday, 31 October, Ostap Stakhiv’s associate, Zhаn Novoseltsev, said he was detained on the street by “unknown people in military-style uniforms.” Lviv regional TCC and Social Support confirmed that Ostap Stakhiv was delivered to one of the district TCCs and directed for a VLK assessment.
Novoseltsev described what happened at a WOG gas station in Lviv on Luhanska Street near Stryiska Street. He said two minibuses with police officers in olive uniforms approached, and that Ostap then went live on YouTube at 15:21. During the broadcast, Novoseltsev wrote that the phone was knocked out and the livestream ended.
The incident led to a search overnight. Rescuers looked for the missing man all night in Dрогобич district after he got lost in a forest.
The article also says Ostap Stakhiv is suspected of fraud and of obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
