Police in Ózd have arrested a man suspected of animal cruelty after he allegedly hanged a puppy from a tree between Ragály and Zubogy. The animal died. Officers from Ózd took the suspect into custody following the incident on the route between the two towns. The case was opened after police found that the puppy was killed. Hungary Police said the arrest was made after the act was reported and investigated. The man will have to answer for the alleged offence. The suspect is under police custody as the case moves through the next steps in the animal cruelty investigation.
