Police in Alba Iulia detained a 45-year-old man for 24 hours after he allegedly entered another man’s home without permission, assaulted him, and threatened him. The incident took place on Friday, 6 November, at around 20:50, following a spontaneous conflict, according to IPJ Alba. Police said the suspect entered the 36-year-old victim’s home in Alba Iulia without the right to do so. Once inside, the man allegedly physically attacked the victim and threatened him. Officers later took the suspect into custody for 24 hours while investigating suspected offences of unlawful entry, assault or other violence, and threats. He is expected to be taken before the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Alba Iulia Court for legal measures. As of the latest update, the man is still in police custody following the detention.
