Police in Aurillac arrested a 60-year-old man after teachers spotted him masturbating near a school. The incident took place on Tuesday, 3 November 2026, around 3.30pm on the playground at the Ponétie in Aurillac. Officers from the Aurillac police station took the man into custody and placed him under police detention. The man, originally from the Cantal, was not known to police services. He is under curatorship. A psychological evaluation was ordered by the public prosecutor. After the time in custody, the man was released.
