A man has been charged after Gardaí raided a suspected drug den in Donegal, seizing suspected cannabis resin and cash worth more than £15,000. Detectives carried out the operation at a residential property in Burnfoot on October 23. Officers seized a quantity of suspected cannabis resin with an estimated street value of €6,000. Following the raid, Gardaí also seized cash in excess of £15,000 from the property. A male adult, in his late teens, was arrested at the scene under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 and taken to a Garda station. He was subsequently charged and granted station bail. The accused is due to appear before Buncrana District Court next month. Gardaí say the investigation is ongoing, with further inquiries continuing.
