A 21-year-old man has been charged with money laundering offences linked to a deadly honeytrap case in England. Calin Tudorache of New Barns Avenue, Mitcham, appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court charged with three offences under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. He indicated not guilty pleas to the charges. Tudorache is due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on 12 November for a plea and trial preparation hearing. The charges relate to crimes carried out by Adina Mihai and Madlin Dumitru, who were jailed for 17 years in August for the manslaughter of two men and the poisoning of two others. Mihai and Dumitru admitted manslaughter on the first day of their trial in June, involving Gary Mouat, 37, from Oxfordshire, and Malcolm King, 80, from Gloucestershire, in 2025 and 2024 respectively. They also admitted two further counts of administering poison to surviving victims. Tudorache is charged with two counts of concealing criminal property and money laundering, connected to incidents between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025. He is also charged with one count of entering into, or becoming concerned in, an arrangement that facilitated the acquisition, retention, use or control of criminal property between 1 January 2025 and 31 July 2025. Thames Valley Police said the charges stem from incidents where the proceeds of criminal conduct were transferred into bank accounts held by Tudorache. Tudorache remains on bail pending his next court appearance.
