A 47-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a woman in Clayton has been released on conditional bail. Police said the woman, 38-year-old Donna Ann Reece, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, died at a house on Clayton Lane on Monday 12 October. The man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was released while enquiries continue. Specialist officers are supporting Donna Reece’s family. Officers are asking for help to piece together what happened, and have set up an online portal where people can share information and any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage they may have.
