Police in Ioannina moved quickly after a report of theft from a kiosk, leading to the arrest of a suspected juvenile. According to the police, the teenager approached a shop in the city and took two bottles of wine and soft drinks from the outdoor fridge. The items were put into his backpack and he fled before officers arrived. After a complaint, police from the Ioannina Sub-Directorate for Crime Investigation rushed to the scene. Officers located the teenager in the wider area and placed handcuffs on him. The stolen products were recovered from his possession and returned to the kiosk employee. The arrested suspect was taken to the Prosecutor of First Instance in Ioannina.
