A 23-year-old motorcyclist was left in a life-threatening condition after a serious crash in Vienna-Favoriten on 21.10.2026. Around 15:00 in Quellenstraße, the rider reportedly collided with a car that had come from Leebgasse and was crossing the intersection. Witnesses said the motorcyclist was traveling at high speed. The impact threw him from the motorcycle onto the roadway, where he was treated by paramedics. The Berufsrettung Wien provided emergency medical care and a rescue helicopter took the seriously injured man to hospital. The 42-year-old driver of the car was not physically hurt. The Verkehrsunfallkommando of the Landesverkehrsabteilung Wien carried out investigations at the scene. The case is under investigation, with police probing the circumstances of the collision.
