An organised criminal group has been sentenced in the United Kingdom to a combined total of more than 100 years in prison for the kidnapping and killing of a Polish national, Eurojust said. The case involved extensive cross-border cooperation between UK and Polish authorities. Eurojust supported the investigation through a joint investigation team. The group was convicted over roles linked to the abduction and death of the Polish victim. Eurojust said the cooperation helped authorities tackle the case across borders, culminating in prison sentences for the OCG. The latest status is that the court has sentenced the organised criminal group, with the combined term exceeding 100 years.
