Hungary police said a phone scam netted several million forints from an elderly woman in Zala. Police reported that the caller posed as a lawyer and convinced the victim to hand over money, leaving her with nothing. The case is being handled by the police as a fraud investigation. Police said the alleged scammer used a phone call to reach the victim and trick her into parting with the money. Hungary police are continuing the investigation.
